::Building Bridges::

I must say some moments are really good while others are downright unacceptable. Like whats up with feeling as if the community we are all so intentionally building could give a shit about oneanothers evolutionary process. I get really feed up with people getting judged for taking risks. Were all playing this game together and some of us are ahead of others. But it seems to me- and I could be totally wrong- that they only way to collectively come together and achieve great things is to find our compassion, for all, even when we see need for improvement.
. . .

We are all teachers and students here, and truly all own the capacity to inspire others and improve the world. What happens is that we tend to give away our power and place all our attention on people who have accomplished 'big' things. Like authors, artists, activists, athletes...and needless to say these people deserve it, but perhaps they have achieved it through a collective of people agreeing they deserve it. By agreeing to this, many of us forfeit our right to also become accomplished, if even subconsciously, we witness ourselves as separate from them.
. . .

But the teacher learns limitlessly from his student! That is the message we are not reading. Perhaps since we were not taught to have this power from a young age in school we must find it for ourselves and that can get tricky. Owning where we are at and what we have to offer and learn is the only way to succeed! Attaining a sense of equality amidst the many diverse minds of the world brings relief and ease out of the chaos created through comparison and control. And do we not all have something unique and special to deliver here? So let us not take people apart and compete but rather, observe and react proactively to what we see in others. Let us find an openness and ease, a sense of humor and venerability, so that we can help each other grow, so that we can build bridges rather than burn them.
. . .

Here on Gaia there are so many great minds, and I so love reading each person interpretation of this Crazyworld, I take what I can learn and offer what I feel. It will take time to re-invent ourselves out of the negative programming but it is possible and I say this because I feel wholeheartedly that I have attained a very positive and accepting perspective for what its worth....while at the same moment, I am still an innocent child who knows so little, who strives to understand, who just want to live and love and experience. If someone out there resonants with me on this, build a bridge my way.
Thanks for listening

the truly flowing person takes and gives constantly; it is a flux.  He moves through the world, smoothing out bumps here, filling the potholes there.  Teacher and student, yin and yang, harmony and rhythm; just an easy, balanced interaction with things.

and gaia is truly the place to promot such attitudes and practices.

we build bridges to each others' souls.
